Since its release in 2011, the JASPER GM 6L80 has been a popular transmission for replacement and performance enhancement purposes.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions originally released the Chrysler 62TE Transmission line in July 2010. The 6-speed transmission is now available on exchange for the following applications:

2014-2015 Ram ProMaster, 3.6L

2012-2014 Avenger & 200, 2.4L

JASPER announced the GM 2.4L Ecotec Direct Injection, and Port Injection, engines are now available.  These OHC engines are available on exchange for the following application:

Ken Hooper of Blue Mound, Illinois, recently purchased a project vehicle. It's a stretched Jeep body on a 1980 K20 4x4 chassis. Ken said, "this vehicle has been driven on the road for many years, but it's also been a very dependable mud truck and still runs and drives great." Currently, the vehicle is undergoing an overhaul, the engine and transmission are still in great working order and will not be replaced. JASPER's technical support helped determine that the vehicle's transmission is a Turbo 400, remanufactured by Jasper Engines & Transmissions back in 1989.
